Yes, you can participate even if you study or work in Ticino, even if you do not permanently live there.

To participate in the Treeps project, you will need access to a device with an internet connection to complete the online questionnaires  – a smartphone will be fine. If selected for Part B, you will also need a smartphone with at least operating system at least 10.0 for Android and 15.6 for iOS, to successfully install and use the project’s app. (chiedere a Mattia i requisiti minimi di sistema operativo)

They will be sent to you by e-mail, when it’s time to answer.

The project involves filling in 5 questionnaires in the following months:
– As soon as you register, in any case by the end of March 2025;
– end of June/beginning of July 2025;
– end of September/beginning of October 2025;
– end of December 2025/beginning of January 2026;
– end of March 2026/beginning of April 2026.

Nothing, you are free to leave the project whenever you wish. However, you will not be entitled to participate in the draws following your abandonment.

After each questionnaire, we will randomly draw the winners of the prizes. If you will be among them, you will be notified via email. To get your LVGA prize, you will need to give us details of your MyLugano account. In a few days the LVGAs will then be debited credited on your MyLugano account. Please, note: you can enter the random draws for prizes only if you have answered all the questionnaires you have received (and, if invited to join the project Part B, if you have installed the project’s app and registered your account on it).

You have to download the MyLugano app on your smartphone, it is available in all stores. After that, you can obtain LVGAs via your personal wallet within the platform. For more information visit the MyLugano website.

Certainly! If you will we among the prize winners, you will have one month to activate your MyLugano wallet and notify your account to the Treeps researchers, who in turn will notify it to MyLugano.

No, LVGAs cannot be converted into money, but they can be used in over 400 businesses in the Lugano area.

Don’t worry, you don’t have to do anything. If you have not received an invitation, it means that you have not been randomly selected by the researchers to use it.

If you wish to leave the project, you can stop answering the questionnaires (and, if invited, stop using the app). However, we will appreciate you to send us an email, to inform us that you would like to leave the project. In the email, you could also ask your previous data to be removed from the project’s data-base. You will not be compelled to tell us your reasons – though if you would like to share them with us, we will appreciate them, due to our research purposes.
